Bryant University has won an innovation award from Campus Technology magazine for its emergency-preparedness efforts.

Although all campuses are focusing on safety and security issues, the monthly publication said Bryant’s staff has “taken current safety and security measures to another level,” particularly in its efforts to ensure that school and government emergency responders can communicate easily and effectively.
