PURVIS Systems, an engineering and information technology firm in Middletown, was awarded a $6.3 million contract by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport to provide configuration management and maintenance services to the NUWC department that develops and operates the U.S. Navy's sensors and sonar systems.
