Women following winding path of entrepreneurship

Kelly Klein has a client.

Gerri Feldman keeps getting yet more orders for the yoga shirts she designs.

And Sonya Bradford catered her first party as Green Gal Caterers.

Much has happened since we first met these three women, who are working to start their own businesses with the help of the Power Up! class at the Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) in Providence.

All three remain on target to create the enterprises they discussed with the Providence Business News in our Sept. 29 report. A doula, Klein is starting a sole proprietorship to support and assist women giving birth; Feldman launched “Wild Buddha Designs,” to create comfortable clothing for yoga; and Bradford is opening an ecofriendly catering business that specializes in organic food and local produce.
