Carol C. Maylsz, who has led the Rhode Island office of the Center for Women & Enterprise since its opening in January 2000, is leaving the nonprofit to join New Directions as the outplacement firm’s vice president for business development.

New Directions, based on Boston’s Long Wharf, works with senior professionals and their families.
