Three executives — Todd Treanor, Paul Treanor and Paul DiPierro — from Treanor Brothers Animation, a 3D animation studio in Providence with an unusual corporate Web site, will give “an overview of their studio and show off some of their tools, techniques and recent work” today during the first Providence Geeks dinner of the year. The Geeks, an information technology-industry group, has been hosting monthly gatherings at AS220, on Empire Street, since early 2006. The events are designed to foster camaraderie among technology workers in Rhode Island, where the founders of start-ups have complained about a sense of isolation that hurts recruitment.
