IT-services firm Rite-Solutions was recently awarded three new contracts worth a total of more than $50 million over the next five years.

The new defense and commercial contracts will include communications, engineering and analytical services, as well as infrastructure support.

The Middletown-based company said the defense contracts cover a range of tasks, from help desk support to refreshing legacy software systems for handling classified and unclassified information.

The commercial contract came from a company in the gaming industry.
