Astro-Med Inc.’s Grass Technologies product group has been awarded a three-year contract from Broadlane Inc., a major health care group-purchasing organization.

Starting April 1, Grass Technologies’ Sleep Diagnostic (PSG) and Electroencephalography (EEG) systems can be purchased by all Broadlane member organizations without going through a competitive bidding process. The contract is for three years.

Broadlane serves more than 915 acute care hospitals, more than 2,600 sub-acute care facilities and more than 18,000 physician practices. Last May, Grass Technologies signed a two-year purchasing contract for its PSG systems with another group-purchasing organization, Premier.
