APC launches energy efficiency service

West Kingston-based APC, owned by Schneider Electric, a provider of integrated critical power and cooling services, has launched an electrical efficiency assessment service designed to address the growing concern of energy efficiency in data centers. Delivered by the company’s global professional services organization, the vendor-neutral suite of services includes comprehensive evaluation of energy use in customers’ facilities with detailed reports on total data center input power, IT load, power usage effectiveness and power and cooling conditions. Consultants also provide proposals to resolve issues with a range of recommendations to suit customer needs. The assessment service is currently available in the United States plus Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom and Vietnam.
