The video opens with a potato field in Portsmouth and follows a box of spuds to a Fryolator in the kitchen of Roger Williams University, in Bristol.
Then the camera shifts its attention, from the food to the used cooking oil that is filtered and trucked to the campus garage, where it becomes fuel for a converted shuttle bus.
Roger Williams undergraduates in journalism produced that message about alternative fuel, a tightly edited sequence of images set to a bouncy, rolling tune on a mandolin.
