Full Story: Procter & Gamble picks Simulia for software Source: Providence Business News, March 28th, 2009 Added on March 30th, 2009 at 10:43 am, by Matt MikulaProcter & Gamble, the world’s largest consumer goods company, has selected Providence-based software developer Simulia to provide the company with simulation software to model its products’ lifecycles.
Tom Lange, director of corporate R&D modeling and simulation at Procter & Gamble, said Simulia’s software “will help our global teams accelerate innovation by providing access to simulation tools, validated processes and corporate knowledge bases throughout the product lifecycle.”
The companies said the new partnership would build on prior collaborations between them.
Separately, earlier this month Simulia announced the first new releases of two simulation software products, Isight and Fiper, that the company acquired when it took over Engineous Software last year.
