A local IT placement firm is using a tried-and-true formula to attract the younger tech crowd to an event on Thursday: free food, free booze and a free computer.

East Greenwich-based Bridge Technical Solutions will hold its first Rhode Island Young Information Technology Happy Hour on Thursday, April 16 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the downtown bar McFadden’s, 52 Pine St., Providence.
