Ananke IT Solutions has launched a new network monitoring service for businesses called ProWatch.

The IT services firm said it is aiming the new product at the small to medium-sized business market, which lose thousands of dollars a year when their networks go down.

“Ananke ProWatch is designed to avoid and protect against … unfortunate situations [such as data loss or hardware failure] by monitoring the client’s network 24/7 at an affordable price,” John Conway, Ananke’s president and CEO, said in a statement.

ProWatch’s features include 24-hour monitoring and alerting, asset management, security assurance, remote control, a reporting engine, patch management and VMware, VMware Player and 64-bit support.
