Slater invests $500K in medical startup

The Slater Technology Fund has invested $500,000 in RxVantage, a Providence-based startup firm that develops software for use in medical offices.

RxVantage was incorporated in Rhode Island last December, according to state records. In May, the company introduced a new version of its eponymous flagship product, a Web-based program that helps doctors’ offices communicate and schedule meetings with health product and pharmaceutical companies.
