Ananke IT Solutions has been awarded the "2009 Workforce Innovation Award" by the Governor’s Workforce Board, Rhode Island. Since 2005, the Governor’s Workforce Board has supported strategies to improve the existing skill base of the Rhode Island workforce and to anticipate the future needs of growing and emerging businesses. The award was officially presented to Ananke President & CEO, John Conway by Governor Carcieri, at the Annual Breakfast Meeting at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet on June 18, 2009.

The Workforce Innovation Award honors the business that best utilizes grant money to maintain and grow skill level in an effective and original way. Ananke strategically made use of the Workforce Board grant to provide additional training to various departments within their organization, “maximizing the impact of our training dollars”, said Paul Sousa, CFO of Ananke. “Each area of our organization has grown as a result of the money received from the grant, from our technical team, marketing department, financial group, to our sales team”.
