RI.gov uses Google Maps to track stimulus

The newly-created R.I. Office of Economic Recovery & Reinvestment is using Google Maps to showcase the projects across the state that are being funded by the economic stimulus package.

Visitors to the office’s Web site can use the map tool to see where the various projects are being carried out. They also can click on each individual project to read a description, see its cost and found out how far along it is.

The map is available at recovery.ri.gov/programs/TransportationMap.php.
