BLI Messaging Inc., a host of email, voice, fax and text messaging solutions, has landed funding from New York private equity firm Catalyst Investors, which invests in media, communications, software as a service and internet-focused services.

No financial terms of the deal were disclosed. However, David Baeder, BLI president and founder, has said the funding will support the company’s development of a management team, and growth of sales and marketing.

Founded in 1989 as broadcast fax company Business Link International, BLI Messaging provides four means of communication — email, voice, fax and text — through one web-based interface. A Baeder Corp. company, BLI is expected by its officials to double the size of its 45-member staff within two years.
