Hasbro’s ‘Transformers’ passes $300M

“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” the new Paramount Pictures movie based on Hasbro Inc.’s toy brand, passed $300 million in domestic ticket sales just 14 days after it was released, The Associated Press reported.

The sales pace set by “Transformers” is the second-fastest in Hollywood history, behind only last year’s “The Dark Knight,” which made $300 million in 10 days, The AP said. (However, those figures are not adjusted for inflation.)
