The subsidiary, Grass technologies, plans to sell the product in conjunction with its long-term epilepsy-monitoring systems. Typically, long-term epilepsy monitoring is conducted in large hospitals affiliated with major universities, Astro-Med said. Alfredo Bustamante, product manager, said, “The advanced products allow the latest technology to assist in crucial brain resection procedures.” Astro-Med (A LOT:NASDAQ) manufactures specialty high-tech printing systems, electronic medical instrumentation, and test and measurement instruments.
