Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” its new film based on the Hasbro Inc. toy brand, after reviewers pounded the two companies’ first offering this summer, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” The Associated Press reported today.
There would appear to be little risk in the decision – “Transformers” has earned $388.2 million domestically and $809.9 million worldwide since its release on June 24, making it the highest-grossing film of 2009 so far.
