Federal, state and local government agencies will gather to help small-business owners cut through red tape at a free We Mean Business Expo on Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Hotel Renaissance in Providence.

The sponsors, the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation and Secretary of State A. Ralph Mollis, said the event will make it easier for businesses to obtain forms, make contacts and get quick answers from government.
