...The Jewelry District is changing in other ways. The former industrial center is attracting more “knowledge-based” businesses and institutions, according to Richard Jaffe, of the Davol Square Jewelry Mart. Jaffe is on the board of the Jewelry District Association.

The Iway project will “actually make us a part of downtown, which is something we’re pretty excited about,” Jaffe said. “We’re touting ourselves as the knowledge-based district.”
