“Cloud computing” has been called the future of technology – a world where your documents, databases and business applications are all online, accessible from anywhere, shared seamlessly and maintained with virtually no effort on your part.

For some, that’s just a remote possibility, but for many others, it’s a reality today, at least in some aspects of their operations.

Christopher A. Murray, principal of C. Murray Consulting, a Web technology and strategy consultancy in Providence, helps clients select the best tools and customize them to meet their needs. He recently spoke with Providence Business News about the brave new world of the “cloud.”
