KVH Industries has announced that it has received a permanent Earth Station onboard –Vessel (ESV) license from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The permanent ESV license is for KVH’s mini-VSAT Broadband satellite service, which has been operating in U.S. waters since September 2007 under an FCC Special Temporary Authority.
