Astro-Med, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALOT) announced today that it has entered into a formal pact with the Association of Black Cardiologists, Inc. (ABC) to jointly promote the education, diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related disorders.

After years of research and intense education for its Member Physicians, the Association of Black Cardiologists has now adopted the early diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders as a part of its highly effective "Seven Steps to Good Health," campaign, supporting its mission to lower the rate of cardiovascular disease in minority populations by eliminating the disparities related to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease and making quality health care accessible and affordable to all in need. ABC is the first cardiology institution worldwide to adopt the diagnosis of sleep disorders as a core component of its platform.
