Hasbro grows by leaps and bounds traveling the multimedia highway

Hasbro CEO and President Brian Goldner is credited with leading Hasbro Inc.’s turnaround during the last decade by creating a new strategic focus: re-imagine, reinvent, and re-energize, breathing new life into old brands and expanding into movies and television.

Under Goldner, the Transformers brand, which was generating about $30 million in revenue in 2000, increased to $600 million in 2009, driven by the “Transformers” movies. The next “Transformers” movie will be released in August 2011.
