CCRI gets $240,000 from state to create career pathways in health, tech, and green sectors

Governor Carcieri signed into law Tuesday a bill that aims to strengthen the capacity of the state’s community college to train Rhode Islanders for 21st-century jobs and to create clear “career pathways” that lead adults of all education levels to decent-paying jobs in health care, technology and emerging “green” technologies.
