Anna Lysyanskaya is fascinated by cryptography, a field with the potential to protect identities in the age of the Internet and electronic transactions. An associate professor of computer science at Brown University, her research interests are in theoretical computer science and computer security. She recently spoke with Providence Business News about security issues that apply to both businesses and consumers.
