About Me
I am currently an Associate Professor in URI's Art Department, where I teaches courses in Digital Art and Design and I am a founding member of the University of Rhode Island, "3D Group for Interactive Visualization", a partnership between the Art and Computer Science & Statistics departments. I am also a project team leader for the "Research Experiences for Undergraduates" (REU) funded by the National Science Foundation and held at URI during the summer.
My Art work ranges across a wide continuim of media forms starting with the purely digital aesthtic forms of Interactive Net Art, and Game Engine Technology through new media variants of Sound and Video Instilations and fully arriving in the physical realm with hybreds works blending digital and traditional processes and aesthtic forms to create photo-silkscreen on various materials substrates such as digitally mediated painings, drawings and small scale sculpture - designer toys.
