Among other things, I'm an electronics developer with over 20 years of hardware, software, and system design.  My background runs the gamut from networking start-ups to defense contractors.  Recently I have started Summit Design Services, a design and consulting company specializing in embedded hardware and software design.  We operate here in RI where I reside.

SDS is able to assist companies of all sizes with their engineering development needs.  I fill the role of primary customer contact and principal designer.  I also have an extensive network of engineers to draw from based upon specific customer needs.

My goal is to build the company as the economy comes out of the current downward cycle.  I believe that as budgets free up over the next 24 months, companies will be looking for ways to ramp up development without commiting to large teams of full-time developers.  SDS is positioned to be there as that happens and provide everything from consulting to full turn-key product design.
