I'm a resident of the Bay State, working in Providence since 2001. I've been developing web applications since my first IT job in 1999. I started out working with VB and ASP, later picking up JavaScript and PHP. More recently I've been focused on learning Ruby and Ruby on Rails.

In 2006 I founded the Providence Web Development Lunch Hour meetup group, which I lead until December 2007. The group continues to meet and I remain an active member.

I'll be leaving my job in the city in December 2007 but hope to stay an active member of the Providence web development community. My new role will be as a full-time stay-at-home father as well as a part-time freelance web developer.
